We will experience three basic layers of training and creation: individual, partner and collective.

The classes are opening the body to new impressions, exploring shapes and possibilities, activating the imagination. This practice develops and broadens the ability to express oneself, reintegrates the body with the mind, releases muscle tensions and limitations arising from critical self-assessment.

All bodies are welcome, only your human presence is required.

“I was reminded of my own skills as a performer. I felt intimately artistically seen, as well as challenged and inspired to create."
—Workshop participant

Through a laboratory model that seeks to break the borders between dance and theatre, movement and action, we will focus on transforming elements of physical training into creative improvisation embracing both experience and physical structures.

As performers hungry for better understanding of our bodies we look closely into what physical awareness means, we look into the details as they evolve to recognise our movement patterns and be able to go over them.

“The main source of my practice comes from Grotowski’s principles and my involvement in the legacy of his work in the Grotowski Instytut (Wroclaw, Poland for over 18 years). I have been developing and deconstructing beyond a Grotowskian lineage, and my workshop incorporates multiple movement, dance, martial art and well-being practices to respond to our present world”

Contradictions are not a limitation— instead, the simultaneous focus on opposite ideas can open doorways for the inner, primal sources of the body & mind to resonate and flow through voice and movement.By tracing the movement of the body through this labyrinth of oppositions, we come to a deeper understanding of our individual physical and vocal identities, the different voices that mirror our own fragility and strength.
